Re: tactile maps
Re: tactile maps @3There are a number of sources for Atlas's available, though I'm uncertain if they ship to Serbia. There's one world atlas from American Printing House For The Blind available [here] for 165$. A Talking Atlas [here] from Touch Grahpics, though it seems to require a tablet like device that retails for 1100$ altogether. There's also another one [here] for ₹880.00, among others.Worst case scenario, you could try getting map models and having them locally 3D Printed or shipped from a connecting country, such as with TactileMaps or Touch Mapper. Re: tactile maps
Re: tactile maps Hmm i have question too about this topics:I'm live in Serbia and in my country making tactile maps is not popular. I have it only in basics school. Now i'm student and i wish to have atlass with several maps: such as: global world map, asia map, european map, american map etc etc. Does any have atlass like that with possibility to order for shiping in my country? Re: tactile maps
Re: tactile maps There are a few resources available at varying price ranges and types. There's [Touch Mapper[]] and [Tactile Maps] which both offer types of 3D printed topography tiles, Tactile Maps also seems to handle things like hills and 3D terrain, etc. Some may require your own printing services, but other sources include the [Lighthouse For The Blind] which offers tactile map orders, you can also find additional resources [here].Another one you could also try looking into is [TactileView], which can be used to create braille print maps via embossers. tactile maps
tactile maps Hello guys,I was wondering do any of you have good resources to purchase tactile maps?I'm most definitely looking for maps of Europe (though I do have an Atlas it's not very detailed).I'm hoping for maps of France and Germany, especially if they show higher detail.I purchased one map from tactilevision of France which shows some detail but not quite to the level of detail I wanted.I was hoping for being able to pick out the Cotentin Peninsula, Calais things like that.I'm definitely happy to pay, including shipping so any detail you can offer is appreciated.thanks URL: https://forum.audiogames.net/post/604073/#p604073 -- Audiogames-reflector mailing list Audiogames-reflector@sabahattin-gucukoglu.com https://sabahattin-gucukoglu.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/audiogames-reflector
