Re: text to speach audio dramas? np, that was part of the achmed.exe file. running it will persistently tell you I kill you and sing jingle bombs until you kill it with alt-q. The version I compiled may or may not have protection routeens which will disable task manager, reg tools and will start on boot for the current user if not running with admin permissions, for all users, at least itll try, not sure if I got that part to work. Most of my killcodes will be alt-q, for the computer battle one, its control 0, control 1, shift 2, for the eloquence from hell or jaws from hell, whichever one, its alt-s. The nightmare one, if thats in there will flash a screaming skull up every 5 minutes, killcode is alt-q, same for the tor pig, its alt-q, which belches every hour I think. I think they all include protections, not sure if they all work or not. At any rate, the source files end in au3, simple autoit scripts. To give credit where credit is due, I think that computer battle was written by someone named damien judging by the code, I just modified it to use eloquence a built-in eloquence synth. If anyones interested, I have more random scripts I wrote. If youre interested, Ill upload them. The company might as well be defunct, and there arent any instructions online that I can find.ESpeak... maybe, but that would be a lot of work. Unless theres a tag system I dont know about (I can do it by flattening the inflection and editing out the parts where I change pitch/tempo, but youd have both the problem of being out of tune with the others, and being extremely hard to keep on beat). I dont remember the plot, exactly, but it was going to wind up that people were making fun of the Choirboy that comes with PW Webspeak for only being able to speak in song, so then they got dared to sing better...The end result was Dectalk Kit, ESpeak Zack, and Eloquence Bobby forming a Boy Band. Then defeating a Troll with the Power of Rock™. There were a couple other characters involved, but I dont remember what they were going to do. Maybe instruments, since I cant make them sing?... The setup was a classroom.Ms Anna is the teacher.I guess I abandoned it because its a ton of work recording and editing that many synths together. I did wind up writing code for both Jaws and Dectalk to sing the Mr. Golden Sun song, though. And PW Webspeak still opens to Good morning, Ms. Anna!. I was going to do something similar, it was going to be a suto remake of barney goes to school with the different tts voices. amy was going to be played by kit, micle by vocaloid oliver (for the singing parts) and eloquence bobby (everything else), tina by brittish dectalk kit, daric by the softvoice child voice, addam by eloquence nikki (brittish version of bobby), lucy by kit from text assist 2.1, and barney by dectalk paul. but all I got around to was making vocaloid oliver sing there are 7 days and the hello song.I mostly abbandanned it because of the balabolka/d speech issues, wptts being incompatible with 64 bit windows, and ta2.1 crashing epicly. I know someone on the zone bbs said he was going to make the kit voice from dectalk sing there are 7 days, but that never happened.Also...it would be an honor if s.a.m. from the c64 was ported to sapi 5. Its on its own youtube channel called sue and cristal productions, because I wanted to have a channel just for tts videos (especially after I got in danger of being foxed because lionsgate wanted to be a shithead about a barney episode I uploaded 2 years ago-I had several but the one lionsgate took down was the culprit, I voluntarily took the others down myself).It has a few running gags throughout it including tom Lehrer (sometimes other performers like foriener) playing at the apartment, usually to distract the antagonist shaun keysy (played by the brittish version of dectalks huge herry by the way).
