Skullgirls' story doesn't really have any appeal for me; hopefully there are accessible fighting games with a more compelling story. Better still would be an RPG with fighting game style combat. Re: trying to play skullgirls with a keyboard I get to the steam library by finding the steam icon in my Notification Chevron thing.I think you can have Skullgirls open in full screen mode by changing it in its own settings.If not, after you find the game by going to your steam library, you should be able to just do a right click with the virtual mouse, and messing with Skullgirl's properties. When I open Steam I see the welcome browser window and no way to get to the library. I'm thinking it might be better to open the game in full screen. I chose SKullgirls as an introductory game because it has accesssibility built in, but maybe there are more more newbie-friendly games to learn from. I went to the remapping options, and I had no idea what to do so I left things as is e.g left equals left arrow, right equals right arrow, etc. Seems simple enough. Yet when I try to move the character with left and right arrows, nothing happens. What am I missing? Re: trying to play skullgirls with a keyboard I think, by default:Z = A/XX = B/CircleYou should be able to get through the menus by using your arrow keys, and pressing Z, to confirm, and X, to go back.You should be able to remap all the controls to any key on the keyboard after you get into controller settings.I found that using WASD for UP left, down, and right works best, because on most controllers, the DPad/Joystick are on the left.Skullgirls is a 6 button fighting game so, you need at least 6 other keys for the 6 actions. LP, MP, HP, LK, MK, and HK. Light, medium heavy punches, and light, medium and heavy kicks.Some games use keys like, G, H, H, B, N, and N, for these actions, and others, use U, I, O, J, K, and L.It just depends on your preference.After playing fighting games on keyboard for a while, I've gotten use to it. So, it's no different than playing on a controller or other peripherals.HTH. Sometimes I had more luck inputting combos with the keyboard for some reason, probably because I'm not that good with an analogue stick. I myself couldn't get the hang of using a keyboard. I think you use the arrow keys for movement and asd and zxc for your attacks; I'm not totally sure about these controls because i don't play Sg anymore. Good luck. trying to play skullgirls with a keyboard SO, I[ decided to give Skullgirls another try in an effort to get into fighting games. Just one problem--I have no controller and have never used one.
