Re: what is tikk tak toe I originally grew up calling it naughts and crosses, which is indeed the UK name for it. Can't remember where I heard it's also called tick tack toe in the states. Amusingly enough though, if both players know the game the game is always a stalemate, which does indeed make it pretty pointless, this was one of the major plot points of the 1983 film war games, in which a computer Ai called Joshua starts geo thermal nuclear war, and in the end, they convince the Ai that Geo thermal nuclear war is exactly like tick tack toe, with no side able to win.
