Mostly by playing around with the examples, also reading through [1500 archers] for a better understanding of lock step networking and such. In simplist terms, the factory handles the connection process and calls a client class for handling connections when another computer reaches out, for example here's a basic TCP/IP server:from twisted.internet import reactor, protocol

main()This client calls main(), which establishes the Client Factory, and then tries to connect to a server on port 8000, if it succeeds it calls the client factory to handle setting up the connection with the server and assigns the EchoClient() class to handle sending and recieving data. So, so sum it up: both the client and the server listen and reach out through ports, when a connection is detected they use factories to handle those incoming connections, and then assign them class handlers for sending and recieving data. When someone connects to a server, it creates an Echo class which you can stuff in a list somewhere, and then to use it you do something like:self.clients[0].send("message for client one.")

hi, I was wondering something about the stash of weapons you can get in bd 1-1. When I go into that stage, the box with those weapons doesn't spawn anymore, all I get is the striped box with the box gun in it. However, I need those weapons in order to complete my list, and to craft some things like the home run bat. Is there a way of making the weapon box reappear?

Hi, Simba, just send me a forum mail, with either sendspace or any  other filehost links. with names of each tv show the link is for. thanks @kool_turk I intend to keep files as is that is have them in the zip format for the tv show and just rename them as per their name and season. I.E game of thrones season 1.zip this should be far less or should I say not at all a problem for the movies as they have straightforward names and the files aren't all named as season 1.zip's.so they should be good to go as soon as they are downloaded and added to the database, no fiddling necessary. @miki123211, I have sent you a few emails, please have a look and reply when you are able.and yes, I will probably create a new topic entirely when I have things close to a public release, that is when the server and html side are good to go for the rest of you or just edit the first post of this topic.Grryf

Well in terms of price, one problem is that the limited coin to play model tends to feel more restricted than it actually often is in practice, and if you work the games out in terms of what you actually need to play they're less expensive than you think, indeed I'd say on average the price tends to work out at about 4 usd per game/mode, as with say blindfold basketball, its just that the games often sell different variants of the same game for a similar price, while they sell complete bundles for a slightly higher price for both, EG in blindfold basketball, you can buy the coach play mode and play with other players modes separately for four dollars each, or both at once for 7 dollars. You can play the coach games quite happily on their own, indeed I played several when I was working out the db entry.Similarly Blindfold wheel of fortune initially looks bloody expensive since the full pack of everything costs about 24 dollars. However, the game initially comes with 1200 different puzzles. That means you'd need to play the game 1200 different times to see everything (and that is assuming that you don't have the repeat phrases option on). You can buy unlimited play after the initial 25 plays for two dollars I believe, and again, there is no need to buy the other question categories if you don't want to, indeed on this model Blindfold wordsearch works out as the same price as Game world, ie four dollars to unlock all categories.the one thing I do think the blindfold games are expensive for, is charging money for essentially either small customisations or minimal play options or adaptations. For example, customisation of other players, or of dog stats in Blindfold doggie. Indeed, one design fault I often feel with the Blindfold games is that they  challenge for customisation, EG instead of letting you unlock harder game modes, simply having harder game options possible to set in the preferencces or require you to actually pay money for them, rather than having them available as rewards or discoveries as you play. that being said, I have liked the design in many of the games, in particular the use of haptic control methods in games like Blindfold breakout and blindfold juggle, heck, many of the sports games like blindfold bowling and shuffleboard can be something of a fine art in themselves to get the distance and movements down pat.So, while I do think there is a little justification for the common accusationn that the Blindfold games  both on the pricey side and designed primarily for novice gamers, at the same time I don't think dismissing all the work without giving them a try is exactly fair either.

I believe I stated this in the guide, not sure if you've read it or not, but the box reappears if you have no thin plates in your inventory. So either drop or store those and reenter the room, you can do this multiple times per play.

I have thought about letting cards have more options, but so far I've talked myself out of it.  It would be very easy to add into the engine, but in my experience limitations are what cause game designers to be the most creative, and those games created within very strict limitations are enjoyed more than their complex counterparts.  I can tell this sounds needlessly preachy, but it's something I've seen over and over in my life.The old 90s console era forced game designers to fit their entire games into very tiny amounts of memory.  Graphics and sound abilities of the time were super limited and forced people to come up with ways around them.  The number of tricks employed by designers of those days were unimaginable by today's standards, yet those games are still held up as the classics.  Often times the sequels were packed with dozens of extra features, but were less fun to play in the long run.All of this could be due to nostalgia though too, haha!  I'm willing to admit that this is all a theory.I've also seen people ruin games for themselves that they loved to play.  Diablo and Diablo 2 come to mind right away, where I knew people who dumped huge portions of their free time into playing them.  I remember how everything would change for them once they finally downloaded cheats to give themselves extra items and spells.  Sure it was fun to finally have so many choices, but the struggle was over and they never looked at the game the same way again.  Limiting game designers to 2 choices per card is sort of the main struggle, and I worry about messing with it.  I fully agree though, in some cases 3 4, or even 5 would be better!  ROFL!  I've had a lot of ideas where I could only make it work if this engine supported more choices per card, so I do understand why you've asked.  Giovani, I think I forgot to include the music file in the zip.  Whoops!Omer, I'll download this and give it a try!Pates try running the checkup.exe file, and see if that solves it.

Hi.@G-Rad and @cmerry This installer contains the legacy Windows XP versions of Microsoft Sam, Microsoft Mike, and Microsoft Mary, compatible with newer operating systems. The big difference between the installer that was floating around a few years ago versus this one is that all 3 voices will appear in both the 32-bit and the 64-bit Windows Speech Control Panel. So yes, you can even use this for Narrator as well.

Hey. We played with my friend, i was ghost and he was normal type. There are immunity cards in each for the other type. We played at least 80 turns, with just clicking on the attack card, and receiving the parry sound. In the end, we ended up with a draw, when we all had 5 immunity against the other cards in our hand. Can you please think a bit ower these parry cards? E.g. put a parry above the deck or something like that to avoid 80-100-hundreds of parry rounds without any action.

@Aprone: I absolutely get your point and i also get your argumentation. HAHA, one thing what i have to admit is that maybe i am looking at this from a little bit different point than you. I see a very very interesting and simple scripting-language and a damn nice concept to create little or maybe even not so little and complex games of RPG-style. And thats a awesome thing to play with. In your eyes it is a little cardbased engine.The main point is: Do you want us to struggle or to create?Please! Dont get me wrong or harsh or even worse! As i said, i realy get your point and you are wright with your example about the classic console age and their creativity cause of limitation.Let me say this: When they released the PS2 they start using all of the opportunities and did not limited their selfes to PSX-Standards even if they could do so.And thats my point. Well in terms of price, one problem is that the limited coin to play model tends to feel more restricted than it actually often is in practice, and if you work the games out in terms of what you actually need to buy in order to play them they're less expensive than you think, indeed I'd say on average the price tends to work out at about 4 usd per game/mode, as with say blindfold basketball, its just that the games often sell different variants of the same game for a similar price, while they sell complete bundles of all modes for a slightly higher price for both, EG in blindfold basketball, you can buy the coach play mode and play with other players modes separately for four dollars each, or both at once for 7 dollars. You can play the coach games quite happily on their own, indeed I played several when I was working out the db entry.Similarly Blindfold wheel of fortune initially looks bloody expensive since the full pack of everything costs about 24 dollars. However, the game initially comes with 1200 different puzzles. That means you'd need to play the game 1200 different times to see everything (and that is assuming that you don't have the repeat phrases option on). You can buy unlimited play after the initial 25 plays for two dollars I believe, and again, there is no need to buy the other question categories if you don't want to, indeed on this model Blindfold wordsearch works out as the same price as Game world, ie four dollars to unlock all categories.the one thing I do think the blindfold games are expensive for, is charging money for essentially either small customisations or minimal play options or adaptations. For example, customisation of other players, or of dog stats in Blindfold doggie, or of the regain health for each invader shot option in Blindfold invaders.Indeed, one design fault I often feel with the Blindfold games is that they  sacrifice challenge for customisation, EG instead of letting you unlock harder game modes, simply having harder game options possible to set in the preferencces or require you to actually pay money for them, rather than having them available as rewards or discoveries as you play. that being said, I have very much liked the design in many of the games, in particular the use of haptic control methods in games like Blindfold breakout and blindfold juggle, heck, many of the sports games like blindfold bowling and shuffleboard can be something of a fine art in themselves to get the distance and movements down pat.So, while I do think there is a little justification for the common accusation that the Blindfold games  are both on the pricey side and designed primarily for novice gamers, at the same time I don't think dismissing all the work without giving them a try is exactly fair either. Indeed I have bought several of the games myself, including blindfold Barnyard, Blindfold breakout and blindfold hearts and haven't been unhappy with them, I'm even considering treating myself to Blindfold runner or Blindfold doggy as a late crimbo present .

I changed my region as well, which was actually far easier to do than I thought (just go into settings and find location) and so have also played the game.I like the fact that the game gets pretty damn extreme, and that even with high contrast graphics you still need to hear the ball, actually the first person graphics I found a  bit distracting even on high contrast mode. I also like the way that hard is sort of extreme! I slaughtered the computer on medium, then hard is a bit nuts, sort of show down levels of nuts . My only issue is that sometimes the game loops into you losing a hole bunch of points in a row, if the ball hits the goal it immediately comes back and hits your goal again, this is especially noticeable on higher difficulties. I also wish the game used a bit of a wider stereo pan for its audio, though that might just be me and the fact that the ball sound is more complex than in most audio pong type games.Other than that though, its an addictive little arcade game and highly worth a tryy as Slj said, and hopefully the next update will fix the region issue.

You'll probably have a short enjoyment of this game if that's the case.  The early stages kind of reach a point where they get repetitive and boring to go through every playthrough.  If the later enemies that provide a challenge are turned into a joke because of inflated stats, it's slowly going to turn into a chore.      Also, I may sort of advise against cheating on this game...stuff is still recorded for leaderboards at the end, but the game probably has a system to detect cheating and invalidate the rankings.  I'm not sure if it does anything else in retaliation...It'd be awkward to have your savefile whiped out of existence considering some cruel examples I've seen in other mainstream games.

Well in terms of price, one problem is that the limited coin to play model tends to feel more restricted than it actually often is in practice, and if you work the games out in terms of what you actually need to buy in order to play them they're less expensive than you think, indeed I'd say on average the price tends to work out at about 4 usd per game/mode, as with say blindfold basketball, its just that the games often sell different variants of the same game for a similar price, while they sell complete bundles of all modes for a slightly higher price for both, EG in blindfold basketball, you can buy the coach play mode and play with other players modes separately for four dollars each, or both at once for 7 dollars. You can play the coach games quite happily on their own, indeed I played several when I was working out the db entry.Similarly Blindfold wheel of fortune initially looks bloody expensive since the full pack of everything costs about 24 dollars. However, the game initially comes with 1200 different puzzles. That means you'd need to play the game 1200 different times to see everything (and that is assuming that you don't have the repeat phrases option on). You can buy unlimited play after the initial 25 plays for two dollars I believe, and again, there is no need to buy the other question categories if you don't want to, indeed on this model Blindfold wordsearch works out as the same price as Game world, ie four dollars to unlock all categories.the one thing I do think the blindfold games are expensive for, is charging money for essentially either small customisations or minimal play options or adaptations. For example, customisation of other players, or of dog stats in Blindfold doggie, or of the regain health for each invader shot option in Blindfold invaders.I also find some of the charges for chips in the casino style games like Blindfold black jack and Blindfold roulette less than reasonable when considering that games like Fruit pot, the casino games in Gameworld and Spolken 21s are already available for Ios for a much reduced price, particularly considering that its possible to lose all chips in one go (blindfold black jack does give dayly chip topups, but roulette doesn't).Indeed, one design fault I often feel with the Blindfold games is that they  sacrifice challenge for customisation, EG instead of letting you unlock harder game modes, simply having harder game options possible to set in the preferencces or require you to actually pay money for them, rather than having them available as rewards or discoveries as you play. that being said, I have very much liked the design in many of the games, in particular the use of haptic control methods in games like Blindfold breakout and blindfold juggle, heck, many of the sports games like blindfold bowling and shuffleboard can be something of a fine art in themselves to get the distance and movements down pat.So, while I do think there is a little justification for the common accusation that the Blindfold games  are both on the pricey side and designed primarily for novice gamers, at the same time I don't think dismissing all the work without giving them a try is exactly fair either. Indeed I have bought several of the games myself, including blindfold Barnyard, Blindfold breakout and blindfold hearts and haven't been unhappy with them, I'm even considering treating myself to Blindfold runner or Blindfold doggy as a late crimbo present .

Hello, slight pattern I've been noticing in dungeons. Easily dealt with now but need to bring it up.Almost always when I enter a castle dungeon for the first time, especially if I am sent there by a bounty. There are literally no enemies in the dungeon. I usually have to leave the dungeon, stop playing for a while and then come back. This almost never happens in any other sort of  dungeon and happens almost every time with castle/tower/fort/outpost dungeons, particularly I've noticed it in the premium area, but I didn't see many of those catle dungeons outsie of the premium zone so just might be chance.

I'm gonna hate this... lol getting all 7 keys while dealing with super Santa causes me anxiety for the duration.@DefenderspoilersIf you haven't figured this out already by the time I saw your question, couldn't hold on seems to be gotten by being killed by an elf with a few seconds left on the clock, not sure on the exact number. I timed it just about as good as you could, had 1 second left.What does vacation mean though? I would've guessed it meant changing regions, but you can't actually do that last I checked.

So now I download the file manually, because I'm fed up with this failing. The Mac's bullshit autoextract thing turns it into root.tar before I even see it do its thing. Ok, so maybe that isn't so bad. Then, having really nothing else to copy it to, I copy root.tar to /dev/disk2s2 the large partition. I do the mounting again, and then do:sudo bsdtar tf root.tarAnd it seems to do everything, my partition has some 10gb used after deleting root.tar, but now my card just won't boot in the Pi. I mean there's no speech feedback, after trying both a usb soundcard and analog headphones. What the actual hell is going on. Again, I would just hand an img over to the raspberryvi.org folks. They have enough space to host the stuff along with auto-expand scripts. This is just ridiculous. Unless I'm missing something. I know the iso had its issues, but I didn't expect that the img would as well.Don't get me wrong, I could always install rasbian lite again, but I've gone through the mate/piespeakup/omx code time and again and have no desire to do that all over. No, I do not have that image to fall back to. I backed up the contents I actually needed and just destroyed it on the card because I didn't really need it anymore.

Hello all,there's been a game that has gone viral for IOS since it was released a couple of months ago called Bitlife Life simulator. It's already been mentioned on Applevis but thought I'd give a little blurb here for you guys too.First, although the game is playable with voiceover and you can quickly learn to get around what isn't so easy to navigate, it isn't perfect. For example the button to buy "Remove Ads" is unlabeled but there is little problem in accidentally hitting it. Also there is a little "16" bit before some of the menus for example "16a Age" for the button that makes you older" Also sometimes buttons are not labeled but going back and forth past them and on them with swipes will usually get a "possible text" remark with what the button says. Also, in the event an event doesn't go as you want due to you hitting an unlabeled button by accident, as long as you don't doubletap to remove the results window, you can close the game and come back and there will be no harm. Again there are ways to get around all this stuff.You might also have to quit the game if you use the movie theater if you get an ad from the wrong source. App Lovin' ads are easy to close and get your rewards but their other ad providers are not so easy.But now to the good stuff.In this game, you play as a person from age 0 until death, and you do things like go to school, have fun with your family, have kids, build a career, and all that stuff. Also, the game has a crazy release schedule, having new stuff to do almost every week with extensive releases. I've only been playing a few days, but I checked back in their changelogs since the game released a couple of months ago. The game has dozens of career options, lots of educational opportunities. You You can gamble, get plastic surgery, and for those of you who desire it, you have control of your character's sexuality so you need not be straight if you don't want to be.The game is full of some great random events that crop up every now and then and the game itself bows to the great random pretty often. Some of the family activities are a bit repetitive, but the game is also still in its infancy.This game, unlike the sims, is not exactly kid-friendly though. In my own short life so far as Hannah Hathaway (I'm still on my first life) I've been offered backstage access at a rock concert for sexual favors, been offered Acid at a club, and I've seen the option to get threesomes lined up with NPCs. If you want, should you become pregnant, you may also have an abortion should you choose. And the plastic surgery options extend all the way to sex change should you desire.  and you can also go into a life of crime and some of that I think can get a little mature as well, but not sure in what way. It is considerably darker and more real than the sims though if you go that route.also, if you want to steer the game a little more, you can either deliberately and manually add names to the NPC generator by way of custom people or can draft in your contact list as well. the military is also open to you if you want. and the game has a ton of achievements that is always expanding. Some of my favorites are things that actually happen if you are killed in a crazy way such as being mauled by a hippo or beaten to death with a medieval weapon.

I changed my region as well, which was actually far easier to do than I thought (just go into settings and find location) and so have also played the game.I like the fact that the game gets pretty damn extreme, and that even with high contrast graphics you still need to hear the ball, actually the first person graphics I found a  bit distracting even on high contrast mode. I also like the way that hard is sort of  on overdrive! I slaughtered the computer on medium, then hard is a bit nuts, show down levels of nuts . My only issue is that sometimes the game loops into you losing a hole bunch of points in a row, if the ball hits the goal it immediately comes back and hits your goal again, this is especially noticeable on higher difficulties. I also wish the game used a bit of a wider stereo pan for its audio, though that might just be me and the fact that the ball sound is more complex than in most audio pong type games.Other than that though, its an addictive little arcade game and highly worth a tryy as Slj said, and hopefully the next update will fix the region issue.

I really wish this game would work out more with less bugs. as the main one is  for me anytime I get into a trade or even if the other players do, it just quits responding. and I have to shut the game down with an endtask in the task manager. If I can help beta test this out. let me know how I could help this project. its a cool consept. Best of luck with it!

Apparently, me trying to run this got to downloading the scriptand.nope, turns out it somehow by sheer timing, murdered the site?Also, if you drop back to  shell, can you still do a manual install? I did notice the install instructions. Also, if I do drop back to a shell, how would I get back to the boot menu where I pick what I wanna install?Also, hey, Ratpoison's missing from the list. That was one of the DE I was most curious about.menu?

@5Yep, last I heard it was, from one of the blind Linux lists out there.Feel free to double check if that's been changed.Also, the list in the intro post, is not meant to be an "official" list of distros with orca built-in to the OS andsuch. Certainly would be nice though...
