 Hello all,

As http://www.kernel.org says, linux-3.[678] are already marked as EOL.
So aufs3.[678] are going to end too in very near future.

If you have a strong objection, please let me know.

I've just released latest AUFS since it is Monday today (see another
mail.)
This is the final release of aufs3.[67]. aufs3.8 lives a little longer.

Get your SQL database under version control now!
Version control is standard for application code, but databases havent
caught up. So what steps can you take to put your SQL databases under
version control? Why should you start doing it? Read more to find out.

3.8 will be continuing support for around about another 6 months, Canonical
has taken on the stable support. That said we do rarely do much in the
way of updates to aufs after release, as it is pretty good stability wise
for our main use cases.

Thank you.

Then aufs3.8 will not end, just for now, as long as it is not heavy work
for me.
But it sounds weird to me, because I know Ubuntu/Canonical people
doesn't like aufs and they are recommending users not to use aufs. It is
ok, I know the choice is yours. But it has an effect like a negative
campaign for aufs.
How can you ask me to support aufs3.8? If you want me to be cooperative
with Ubuntu, why doesn't Ubuntu become cooperative with aufs?
