Re: [aur-requests] [PRQ#19513] Orphan Request for libva-vdpau-driver-chromium
If you're unwilling to add a patch for this package to work with newer versions of chromium then that's more reason to orphan it. MrWinux [1] filed an orphan request for basilisk [2]: Dear Trusted Users, I would like to make orphan request for this package, because the package needs some maintainer action. I and some other people tried to contact with the maintainer but he never responds. I know the package is always up-to-date but there are some other problems witch have to bee fixed, but the maintainer doesn't fix them. For these reasons, I think the package should be classified as an orphan. Best regards, MrWinux [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/MrWinux/ [2] https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/basilisk/

[aur-requests] [PRQ#19507] Deletion Request for brother-mfc-j1300dw-lpr-bin
bverhagen [1] filed a deletion request for brother-mfc-j1300dw-lpr-bin [2]: I was adding support for the Brother MFC-J1300DW printer based on https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Packaging_Brother_printer_drivers a little too closely: after some examination, it turned out that this package does not just install the lpr for the printer, but also the cupswrapper. As such, I decided to rename the package to 'brother-mfc-j1300dw' (hence the same-named AUR repository). Therefore, I would like to delete this package in favour of 'brother- mfc-j1300dw'.
