I really don't want to have the menus visible at all times. For most users, the menus are hardly ever used and when you use them, you don't need to read the title of the window. You also don't need to look at the menu when you read the title of a webpage. They're mutually exclusive, hence it makes sense to only display one at a time. [Ayatana] stop quick hide application top menu on top task bar
dear ubuntu unity developer team, could you make the active application top menu appears all the time on the task bar just like mac osx? it annoys me i have to hover my mouse to the top task bar each time i want to change the preferences or options. current experience it's just not as smooth as it should be. if only the active application shows the top menu all the time in the top task bar would be a great addition. kind regards, /charles everytime i get ahead, i feel more dead. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ayatana Post to : ayatana@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ayatana More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
