Hi Linda: Jacinto de Andrade born 1851 in Arrifes had a daughter Margarida that carried de Andrade and de Almeida was the de Almeida carried down from the mother's or father's side? Mother's side. My ggrandfather as you and I discussed was Manuel de Andrade de Almeida Rodrigues born around 1851 was from Sao Roque, but my grandmother, one of his daughters, Maria dos Espirito Santo was born in Arrifes.
