Jacinto de Andrade born 1851 in Arrifes had a daughter Margarida that carried 
de Andrade and de Almeida was the de Almeida carried down from the mother's or 
father's side? 
 
Mother's side.
 
My ggrandfather as you and I discussed was Manuel de Andrade de Almeida 
Rodrigues born around 1851 was from Sao Roque, but my grandmother, one of his 
daughters, Maria dos Espirito Santo was born in Arrifes. We must have a 
connection there. 
 
I agreeall we have to do is FIND it...:-)

Jose PACHECO-RAMALHO (my 2nd ggf) n 23 Mar 1816 in Maia m Francisca da 
CONCEICAO da-PONTE 02 Jan 1835
 
Joao PACHECO-RAMALHO (my ggrf) n 19 Sep 1849 in Maia m Francisca-Julie da-PONTE 
11 Jan 1875 in Maia and had the following children:
 
Joao RAPOSO-RAMALHO-PEREIRA (my gf) n 17 Mar 1876 m Margarida-Joaquina 
ANDRADE-ALMEIDA 24 Jun 1901 and you have the rest of the info

who were  part of the Lewis Hine Project. When I checked out the website 
Mornings on  Maple Street - The Lewis Hine Project and entered New Bedford 
in the field,  quite of few picture of Portuguese in New Bedford are shown. 
Most do not have  names but the pictures are interesting. There is a Marcio 
family listed.
