[AZORES-Genealogy] Re: FAMILIES OF FURNAS VALLEY - São Miguel, Azores

2014-09-04 Thread João Ventura
Hi Luís,

You should consider publishing these as ebooks, in which you'll still get
(some) money for your work, while having none of the costs associated with
printing. And unless it's a romance that somehow reconstructs the lives of
these 1000 families over 300 years, I don't think anyone will ever read the
books cover to cover, so no one should have any problem with them being
PDFs instead of dead trees.

 Dear friends,
During the past 30 years, I investigated all the families of Furnas
Valley. Been over the last 300 years more than 1,000 families who
lived in this beautiful valley in the island of São Miguel, Azores.
As a result of this epic genealogical work, research eventually
produced seven volumes of 500 pages each.
The failure of the power to publish at this stage of my life, I have
been proposing sale by chapters who are interested, assuming that each
 chapter corresponds a family.
The text is written in Portuguese.
The maximum price is 150 €uro each chapter (for larger + than 10 A4
sheets) and 50 €uro for smaller (up to 9 pages).
If you are interested or have some additional clarification on this
promotion, please write to lrazoresg...@sapo.pt javascript:.
 Some chapters have photos.
 Best regards!

2014-09-04 Thread 'gofastr1' via Azores Genealogy
Visiting Lisbon in a month and would like to find Antonio, if he is still
with us. He did research on the effects of winds on buildings at a
university in Lisbon, but hearalded from the Ornellas family, originally
from the Azores.
