I purchased one of their kits (for myself) at Jamboree. I read the article yesterday and it does raise concerns. However, I only want to test with them for clues on my U.K. origins which go back to 1700's. I don't plan to download data (I can do that from FTDNA). My takeaway from the article was to beware of downloading/sharing information from them and the origins data is evolving (exactly what they said at Jamboree) and to be used as clues. To be fair to them, they said repeatedly that their German data is weak at this time and they are working on improving that (Portuguese too, when I asked).
