It depends on the one you are looking at. Which one?

If it is in one of the libraries in the Azores you will need to write to
them for copies.

Sam,

The marriage records for Fenais da Luz before 1687 are lost, so there's no
way to know the parents of Bartolomeu Afonso Travassos. Unfortunately
there's no notarial record to clarify the question either.

I'm not sure if this is the web site or not, since we mostly deal with
older records on this list:
https://www.portaldocidadao.pt/pt/web/instituto-dos-registos-e-do-notariado/registo-civil-certidao-de-casamento

You can write to the Registo Civil in Praia and request a certified copy:

Conservatória do Registo Civil

9760 Praia da Vitória

Terceira, Açôres

Portugal

I do not know the fees for certified copies. Maybe others on this list do.

Rick,

I also descend from Inácio do Rego Baldaia and Maria Álvares Senra. Inácio is
the great-grandson of Gonçalo do Rego, o Velho, and you can find him in RR's
book.
See below the chart for my ancestor Maria do Rego granddaughter of Inácio do
Rego Baldaia.

Manoel César Furtado

Ahnentafel Chart for Maria do Rego

First Generation

  1. Maria do Rego  was born in Fenais da Luz, São Miguel.

RR
Cap. 18º, § 14

Francisco was born in Fenais da
Luz, São Miguel.

Second Generation

  2. Manuel do Rego Vasconcelos  was born in Fenais da Luz, São Miguel. He
married N..

RR
Cap.º 18º, § 14, nº 5
Casou a primeira
Casou a
terceira esposa e
não a segunda como consta do RR)

N O T A S
31) Manuel do Rego Vasconcelos (§ 14.º N.º 5)
Pereira e consorte
Ângela de Mendonça aforaram a Manuel do Rego Vasconcelos, filho de Inácio do
Rego, lavrador,
Vasconcelos, e
desse casamento ficaram os menores Manuel e Francisco. O dito Manuel do Rego
Vasconcelos já
está casado com outra mulher. Numa justificação deste inventário depôs a
testemunha Inácio do
Notas do tabelião
Francisco Cardoso Rodovalho e consta de fls. 72 verso. Dela foi também
testemunha Inácio do
Rego Baldaia, morador nos Fenais.

This may be too far back to be of interest to you. In my tree I have Guinilda
de Flanders as the daughter of Baldwin de Flanders I and Judith on pages 518,
571x2 518, and 583 -518 in my family tree book created by Joao Ventura. She
appears in my chart 4 times. She was born about 865 and died about 906 and was
the wife of Wifredo Borrel I. Her parents were married in France on 12/13/862.
I have Baldwin I being born abt 835 and died about 879. These lines go through
Spain’s royal lines
I have other that connects to Flanders but these come through English royal
lines. I have Matilda of England on Page 491 in my book. She is the
granddaughter of Matilda of Flanders (1031-1083), wife of William I of England
(aka William the Conqueror), daughter of Baldwin V of Flanders and Adele of
France.
Let me know if this was of any help to you. Any additional or more accurate
information would be appreciated. Thanks

Any references would be interesting.
