Thanks JR!  It's been my pleasure and passion to put together 
YourIslandRoutes.  What I like is even after 30 years, I'm still learning.

After reading some of these voyages (like the Amana which took almost 6 
months to reach Hawaii because of bad weather), it's amazing that the 
Azoreans and Madeirans kept signing contracts to migrate.  It makes me 
think how bad life must have been to endure such journeys.
