Thank you Rick for the information.  The time period I am looking for is about 
mid to late 1500, like 1550 to 1565.  I am looking for and or what is going on 
is that Manuel Dias Monteiro was born in  Calhetas, St. Miguel Island and 
Married Maria Medeiros, they had a son name Manuel de Medeiros and he married 
Maria Pereira in Se Funchal Madeira, Island on 11/06/1611, they had a son name 
Antonio Pereira Camacho.  Manuel Dias Monteiro is my 9 great grandfather on my 
Father side, in Madeira there is no records around for either Manuel de 
Medeiros marriage or the birth of his son Antonio, so I am kind of going with 
by the marriage date of Manuel de Medeiros and Maria Pereira, and kind of did 
the math leading back.  This is how and why I am came up with the dates.  I am 
not sure if there is any records around so it might be a dead end for this 
line.
