What a strange declaration, that both godparents are children of parents unknown. They must be from noble families. Who is the child that descend from marriage of Manuel da Costa and Teresa Jacinta, that you are following? I think Venancio da Costa is from Ponta Garca and his wife Mariana de Melo is from island of Santa Maria. I have some records that tie into this family and the Costa Amorim lineage. I think you're right, I was pretty convinced on Branca as well and now that you mention it, I think it is Matilde, we'll see what others have to say. I am trying to remember, but I believe this Francisco Costa line of Rosario, connects to two other people on the list. One would be Celeste perry, but the other escapes me at the moment.
