You have the godparents correct. A man named Antonio Machado who is the son
of another Antonio Machado. And the godmother is Beatriz de Mello the wife
of Antonio Machado. It does not specify which one (or if it's another one).
You'll have to do more research :)

[AZORES-Genealogy] Help with Altares Godparents

I believe the godparents in this record are Antonio Machado, son of Antonio 
Machado, and Beatriz de Melo. wife of Antonio Machado. So is it the mother and 
son that area godparents? And is there anything else added to the name? Record 
is at the top of the left page

I’ve located the baptism of my 5th great aunt and I can not read the godparents 
names.
It starts on the bottom of the left side and continues to the topic of the 
right side.
