Re: [AZORES-Genealogy] Re: Filomena Martins. Joao Correia de Bettencourt and Margarida, Maria, and Olinda

2019-09-04 Thread Bill Seidler
They are available on Ancestry.com and on Familysearch.org. Ancestry.com
transcribed and indexed José as João in the 1996 record. An unfortunate
coincidence with the initial error on his daughter's baptism in 1900. If
you open the document though, it clearly says José. Familysearch.org did
index it correctly as José.

Awesome work. Thanks for sharing. How do I get the marriage logs? Is this

RE: [AZORES-Genealogy] Alves/Alvaro Carvalho and Ferreira Drummond

2019-09-04 Thread doreencaetano
For what it is worth…I have Joao Escorcio’s daughter, Branca Afonso Escorcia
Drummond, married to Belchior Goncalves Ferreira. Branca and Belchior have a
daughter named Isabel Afonso de Azevedo. This information came from an online
Drummond tree. There is a research group especially for the Drummond family.
I did not have Isabel’s marriage. Did you find the church record? What is your
source for this marriage information?
Sincerely.
Doreen
