I recently received a set of files from Suzanne Edvalson that are her extracted death records index for Ribeira Seca, Sao Jorge. They cover 1644-1879 but be aware that there are missing years that she has not been able to work on yet. She plans to do that after other projects are completed. So, take a look at these. Hopefully your ancestor will be among the ones in this index.
