Sean, you will be able to order the books via PayPal so no bank checks to
worry about. You will be charged the exchange rate but at my last check $15
Euros was $16.50 US dollars and of course, your bank will charge some $$.

The books are in Portuguese but they are in a form that is easily read.
Igor will be sending me the info on the new book and I'm sure that you will
be able to email him about the first book. Do you have any lines from Sao
Roque?? My one and only line from Pico is Sao Roque and the first book took
me back two more generations. I really hope that the second book will give
me more info on the line into Faial. Once you hope over to Faial you may be
able to connect with the book Familias Faialenses my Marcelino Lima. If you
hook up with one of those families you jump to Terceira and even to
Portugal on some lines.

Sean,
Igor Espinola de Franca has two books out now on Sao Roque do Pico which
ties many of the old founding families to families originally from Faial. I
bought his first book and it's great. His second will be previewing on July
29th and he will be letting us know how we may order. The first book was 20
Euros the second is 15 Euros. The good thing about the info is it started
with the Church records and now has expanded into using other records of
the islands.

descends from Pico. Is there any way to retrieve information on a certain 
place prior to the records that have been recorded on the CCA site?
