I can tell you there was not a Manoel born in Santa Bárbara on the date you have listed (However there is a Manoel born to José de Resendes & Francisca Jacintha de Moura on 4 March 1950). Since the records for all parishes of Santa Maria are now online, your Manoel should be relatively easy to find.
