I think 3 of the parishes on Pico in NEPS are from Maria Norberta Amorim's
"As Tres Paroquias do Sul de Pico" or something like that. Gayle can speak
more to that. That book was published a long time ago. My guess would be
that it is out of print too. Argh!

What did you mean by the "original book" being wrong?  Is there another 
source besides CITCEM and CCA?

I see Manuel Pereira Evangelho son of Jose Pereira Evangelho and Anna 
Francisca, and Maria Theresa do Conceicao de Jesus, daughter of Joao (Ferreira) 
da Rosa and Theresa Rosa, both deceased. 

I'm working on the month but see the day as the 20th and year as 1845.

Hello friends - I'm having trouble deciphering this marriage record.  Sorry 
- it's a tough one!

It's on the bottom of the first page and flows over to the top of the 2nd 
page.

Here's what I picked out - any help correcting this or adding to it would 
be much appreciated.  

Husband:  Manuel (Pereira?) Evangelho, son on Jose (Pereira?) Evangelho and 
Anna Francisca ; 

Wife:  Maria Theresa do Coracao de Jesus, daughter of (can’t read t this 
line or next, maybe Joao Pereira? da Rosa..?..and his wife Theresa Rosa???)

Natives of Sao Mateus (I assume this means the couple getting married are 
natives?)

Date of marriage – is it 20 June 1845?
