On Saturday, September 13th, from 8:30 - 4pm, George Pacheco and I are going to present a Portuguese genealogy class in Rhode Island. It's going to be fast and furious! The morning session will be using American sources to find your freguesia. I will do a real scaled down DNA lecture and software review too (or that's my plan right now). After lunch, George will do the Portuguese records, and what to look for and then we will be off to the lab for the hands-on session where you can look at the CCA records and get assistance! It's similar to Salt Lake, but on a much smaller scale since we have only 6 ot 6.5 hours to present everything. $40 includes morning coffee and a light lunch.
