Are you still looking for information on this couple? The reason I ask is I've
come across a link between my Pacheco Grande's of FVC married to Moniz Catunto.
I believe that the couple I am tracking may have come to America. I believe
Serafim did also and may related to them. I have no proof of that yet.
This is what I have working on:
Maria, b. 3 Jun 1891; baptized 7 Jun entry no. 48
Daughter of Manoel Moniz and Deolinda Izabel
Paternal: Primo Moniz and Maria Julia
Maternal: Joao Pacheco and Maria Izabel
Side note: married Jacinto Moniz Catunto 28 Nov 1913.
Jacinto came to America first. Then, his wife, Maria, followed in 1916...if it
is the right couple that I found on ship manifest.
Deolinda da Jesus married Manoel Moniz 3 Sep 1890, FVC (entry no. 4, online
image 005)
Deolinda parents are listed as Joao Pacheco Grande and Maria de Jesus
Deolinda was born 2 Dec 1868, bapt. 22 Dec. (online image # 0030, entry #68)
Parents: Joao Pacheco Grande & Maria de Jesus
Paternal Manoel Pacheco Grande & Mariana de Jesus
Maternal Antonio Pacheco & Anna de Jesus
I believe this was Joao's 3rd marriage. I'm still piecing it together.
