Nossa Senhora das Candeias is another name given to the church of Nossa
Senhora da Purificação , in Santo Espírito.
That's where you need to research.

I'm not familiar with a parish call Candeias, but I found this web site 
that says it is another name for NS da Purificação in Santo Espirito so I 
would try there.
