Hi Joao,

I was just about to ask someone about this, because when I went to the LDS FHLC online I got to this page:

https://familysearch.org/eng/library/fhlcatalog/supermainframeset.asp?display=titlefilmnotes&columns=*%2C0%2C0&titleno=381603&disp=Registros+paroquiais++

And it gave me the same dates  you just mentioned. However, I swear I remember using earlier Conceicao records of baptisms before 1700 that were on LDS films. I think they started about the 1670s time frame. But I don't have quick access to my notes that I compiled for all Azores records on LDS film. I might be confusing Conceicao with Angustias, come to think of it.

If there are any Conceicao researchers who have quick access to the information, please let me know.

In any case, at least we can expect to see the available casamentos you mentioned. One record of my ancestors are amongst those not yet posted.

Hi Doug,

You mean the ones listed here: https://familysearch.org/search/catalog/381603 ?

Batismos 1750-1881 Family History Library International Film 1330078
Batismos 1882-1890 Reconhecimentos de filiação 1876-1898 Family History Library International Film 1330079 Item 1
Casamentos 1705-1874 Family History Library International Film 1330079 Items 2-3
Óbitos 1724-1866 Family History Library International Film 1330079 Items 4-5

The only difference between this list and the one on CCA is that there's a marriages span between 1705-1840 that hasn't been made available. They might be referring to even earlier birth records. From my snapshot of their catalogue, the ones missing are:

Births: 1705-1750 (NOT in the film)
Marriages: 1705-1840 (this is indeed in the LDS microfilm)

I believe they're referring to these two books, and their special digitization needs. Let's hope for the best on those...
