And a background in installing Malware on users PC's without their consent perhaps? See: http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,1895,1940747,00.asp Add that to the fact that the BBC's EULA bans Security researchers from looking for dangerous code in iPlayer, is there any reason what so ever to believe iPlayer is actually safe and not a Trojan of some kind? I can see little other reason for blocking security researchers from even examining the binary. if you read the ToS you will notice that the BBC states it doesn't warranty that iPlayer is secure or virus free, that *you* the consumer hold the risk, and that *you* the consumer or _any_ other person, including security experts are prohibited from examining the software to determine whether it is or is not safe. Any chance of an explanation? Is the BBC trying to steal credit card details, or are you trying to zombie boxes for some reason? Was tampering with competitions not lucrative enough for you? If the BBC has nothing to hide, then what is all the hiding for? Oh incidentally there are multiple mistakes on www.bbc.co.uk/iPlayer I shall leave you to find and fix them. [backstage] Sshhh... I've added a bit to my Backstage project...
I know we don't talk about mashups (VILE word), or development or anything here anymore (when's the development list coming???), but I thought I'd quietly mention the first draft of a new feature on TVPlanner.co.uk - you can now add programmes to your Google calendar (if you use it). You don't need to register with the site to use this. That's it really, nothing very exciting. Nothing to see here, move along... Now, who's next to slag off / fellate an iPhone / iPlayer?
