Maybe it's possible to create a blackout period for that day? Not sure if one 
should specify saturday or sunday as weekdays.

It might be possible to setup Linux with ZFS, create a zpool (1 disk might be 
enough for the transfer) and copy over the bpc pool. Export that zpool, setup 
FreeBSD and import the zpool.

Make sure you have plenty of ram as ZFS works better the more ram it has.
