Re: [Bacula-users] Update 1.38.0 --> 1.38.4 - FC4, RPMs - problems with startup-script
Hello Kern! Thank you very much for your fast reply. Sorry, I received the Sourceforge-message for new downloads faster than your email with the release announcement. After some (unsuccessful) testing with changing user/group of executables to bacula and chmod of /usr/sbin/mtx I changed the user in startup-script back to root as workaround. Kind regards, Jens Kern Sibbald schrieb: Hello, My release announcement should answer your question -- I suspect it is a question of permissions. [Bacula-users] Bacula 1.38 and DVDs
Hi all! I took first steps with using DVD as storage-medium - beneath my usual file-storage. I patched the dvd+...-tools and everything seems to be correct installed. But I received the following message after starting a job: --> 18-Nov 17:10 gate-sd: Job GateDVD.2005-11-18_10.10.32 waiting to reserve a device. <-- Is it necessary to label any volumes before this or will this be done automatically? Re: [Bacula-users] 1.37 as stable/RPM?
Hello! Thank you for your explanations. Is there a rough timetable for this next stable release (1.38)? I am curious to use the DVD-options. [Bacula-users] 1.37 as stable/RPM?
Hello! I started first tests with bacula last week after a tipp of our system-adinistrator in our company. Now I am so enthusiastic like he is. ;-) I had problems with compilation of beta, so I installed the 1.36-rpms and am waiting for next release. Is there a rough timetable for release of 1.37 stable (as RPM) available?
