Used /mnt/backup/bacula/irris/cristal2-restores as my restore location
The files (directory structure) appeared in

If I do a restore to a windows system the directories appear with the system
and hidden attributes set.

Look in your restore directory for subdirectories with those attributes set.

Re: [Bacula-users] No Full backup in first weekend of january

2010-01-11 Thread Pieter (NL)

In the schedule resource the manual says:

 = w00 | w01 | ... w52 | w53

So why didn't my backup run in week 53?
(Still a lot of time to fix no week 53 until 2016.)

[Bacula-users] No Full backup in first weekend of january

2010-01-09 Thread Pieter (NL)

Hi,

I noticed something stange. In the first week of january no Full backup was
made on my server(s). I have the following schedule:

Schedule {
  Name = "WeeklyCycle"
  Run = Level=Full w01 w03 w05 w07 w09  w11 w13 w15 w17 w19 w21 w23 w25 w27
w29 w31 w33 w35 w37 w39 w41 w43 w45 w47 w49 w51 w53 on sun at 01:05
  Run = Level=Differential w02 w04 w06 w08 w10 w12 w14 w16 w18 w20 w22 w24
w26 w28 w30 w32 w34 w36 w38 w40 w42 w44 w46 w48 w50 w52 on sun at 01:05
  Run = Level=Incremental tue-fri at 01:05
}

I know this weekend was in week 53 is this a missing week in bacula?

Greetings,
Pieter

Same here on Windows. Backup was done with client Version: 1.38.10 Restore
to client Version: 3.0.0. Permissons on folders change. D:/tmp/x now has
permissions Hidden and Read Only, subfolder of d:/tmp/x gets System and Read
Only permission.
Restore logfile is also showing access denied ('Toegang geweigerd') message
think that is causing the file count mismatch warning all the access denied
messages are on directories.

Found a few ways to create a static-fd (i think)

run make configure in /usr/ports/sysutils/bacula-client
write down (copy) the configure command with all the argument from
config.log in the work/bacula-2.4.4 dir
run make clean in /usr/ports/sysutils/bacula-client
now run make extract, make path and cd into work/bacula-2.4.4 and run the
copied configure command with all the arguments and add --enable-static-fd
to the line
run make and a static-bacula-fd is in src/filed directory.

run make in /usr/ports/sysutils/bacula-client
cd into work/bacula-2.4.4/src/filed and run make static-bacula-fd

ldd static-bacula-fd
static-bacula-fd:
libintl.so.8 => /usr/local/lib/libintl.so.8 (0x281e3000)
libiconv.so.3 => /usr/local/lib/libiconv.so.3 (0x281ec000)

don't know if it will work dont have the resources to try it right now.

There was really no error message. Rebooted the server and recompiled and
reinstalled mysql51-server and client and it's working again. Don't know why
the problem disappeared.

Re: [Bacula-users] Backups too big, and other questions

2006-04-26 Thread Pieter (NL)

Can't you use the command last (/var/log/wtmp) for that?
The size is that big, according to a google search, because a userid exists
which is probably -1 or realy big. That is why the size of the file is only
64K with all the nulls left out. One record for each userid who has logged
in. The index used in this file is userid So 1,2 Tb / recordsize if the
big userid

What is actually stored in /var/log/lastlog? Is it worth being backed up?

Re: [Bacula-users] Backups too big, and other questions

2006-04-25 Thread Pieter (NL)

I use following filesets. First exclude in options and after that include:

FileSet {
Name= "bsdserver1 files"
Include {
Options {
signature   = MD5
compression = GZIP
Exclude = yes
WildDir = "/proc"
WildDir = "/dev"
}
File = "/etc"
File = "/usr/local/etc"
File = "/usr/image/part2/home"
File = "/usr/image/part2/profiles"
File = "/usr/image/part2/oldproj"
File = "/usr/image/part1/mysql.bak"
}
}

Maybe for you something like this will work:

FileSet {
  Name = "Firewall Full"

  Include {
Options {
  compression = GZIP
  signature = MD5
  exclude = yes
  WildFile = "/var/log/lastlog"
WildDir = /proc
WildDir = /tmp
WildDir = /sys
WildDir = /dev
WildDir = /.journal
WildDir = /.fsck
WildDir = /mnt
WildDir = /var/spool/squid
WildDir = /BACKUPS
}
File = /
File = /boot
File = /home
File = /var
  }

Re: [Bacula-users] bacula-web image test/phplot fails with "argument not an array" erro

2006-04-25 Thread Pieter (NL)

I've got it working. Problem is the array_merge function. For phplot I've
installed a newer version of phplot (rc2) from
http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/phplot/ in the external_packages/phplot
directory.
There are some other phpscripts i've adjusted
classes.inc:

bsdtest# grep -e "array_merge" *
classes.inc: $whole_result[] =
array_merge((array)$row["$derecha"],(array)$row[$izquierda]);
classes.inc: $whole_result[] =
array_merge((array)$row["Jobid"],(array)$row["JobFiles"],(array)$row["JobBytes"]);
classes.inc: $spr2 =
array_merge($spr2,array($row["Name"]=>$row["SUM(JobBytes)"]));

Re: [Bacula-users] Backup only to Hard Drive

2006-04-14 Thread Pieter (NL)

I'm currently backing up to 2 mobile firewire disks. If I switch disks I
first disable all the volumes stored on this mobile disk and store the
status of the volumes in a mysql database. Umount the disk and remove it.
Mount the other disk (in the same location) and put the state of all the
volumes on that disk back to the value stored in the database. To bacula it
seems just one storage the only problem is I have to be carefull where to
restore from since bacula lets me restore from disabled volumes!

(Fatal error: acquire.c:109 Read open device "MobileStorage"
