Recent Linux based systems might also support device names based on the
device ID. For example: /dev/tape/by-id/scsi-

Using device path like that would preserve its name and path through
system reboots.

Are you absolutely sure that your autochanger/robot is at /dev/sg2 now?
You can always check if your system recognizes your tape library using 
commands: lsscsi and mtx. If all in with these commands will work fine then 
Bacula will work too.

Are you absolutely sure that your autochanger/robot is at /dev/sg2 now?
You can always check if your system recognizes your tape library using 
commands: lsscsi and mtx. If all in with these commands will work fine then 
Bacula will work too.
