They said that if only the Bab had been able to keep his composure He could have stood before the crowd and proclaimed Himself the Mahdi and no one would have denied Him. KJV in Iqan

Iqan: Immediately after the oppression of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the *earth* shall be shaken.
