[ANN] BBEdit 10.5.2 (3261) pre-release
Good { morning, afternoon, evening }, We're working on an update to BBEdit 10.5 to address a few recently reported issues. In addition to the changes noted below, this build incorporates changes from previous 10.5.2 pre-release builds. Note that this is a _pre-release_ version. The intent is to fix bugs and address areas of improvement based on what our customers have reported. However, since the software is at this point not fully tested, there _may_ be bugs and regressions. If this prospect makes you nervous, then sticking with the public release versions is your best course of action. Nobody will be offended if you choose to do so; you're under no obligation to install and use anything but a public release. :-) Following is a summary of the changes in the software since the previous build. The change notes are organized into additions, changes, and fixes, and are annotated where appropriate with case numbers. So if you recognize a number corresponding to a support case that was opened for you, you can now verify that it's been fixed correctly. Please take the time to review the changes before using the new build -- there are a lot of them, and it'll be worth your time. Information about changes in the previous pre-release build can be found here: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/bbedit/xshm0D4Q0qg/9Ff-PMk2rwcJ. One final note: If you run into a bug in a pre-release version, PLEASE DO NOT REPORT THE BUG TO THE LIST. This includes asking about whether others have seen the same problem. Instead, please send a bug report to supp...@barebones.com and we will deal with it there. This will help us keep the list discussion on topic and productive for all list members. version 10.5.2 (3261) (01/28/2013) Additions - o (none in this build) Changes --- o (none in this build) Fixes - * The width and visibility of the editing window sidebar is now remembered correctly when saving window state across a quit/relaunch, as well as for Save Default Text Window. * [259554] Fixed bug in which some operations depending on the current Clipboard contents would return stale information in cases where a clipboard import (from an external application) was necessary. =end= The package can be downloaded from our web server: http://pine.barebones.com/seeding/bbedit-1052_3261.dmg Enjoy, R. -- Rich Siegel Bare Bones Software, Inc. sie...@barebones.com http://www.barebones.com/ -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the BBEdit Talk discussion group on Google Groups. Save All command???
Is it just me, or does anyone else really hate the lack of a Save All command in BBEdit? I tend to work on updates that span multiple files at once, and i dont know how many times I've been tripped up by missing saving just ONE of the files and getting a bad build as a result. Any more votes for Save All in BBedit??? --Tim -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the BBEdit Talk discussion group on Google Groups. Any more votes for Save All in BBedit??? I reversed the keyboard shortcuts for 'Save' and 'Save All', and now Save All appears all of the time. Note: I _want_ ⌘ + S to be Save All -- you might not want that. You can do this either in BBEdit's preferences or System Preferences, but I think it's easier to do in BBEdit's preferences. Re: Default Preview Font
Thanks for the pointer. That got me to the right place in the manual. I've installed and modified a couple of Style sheets for Marked as well as the simpler example from eremita. Also, many people are unaware: if you have the menu open (say File menu in this case) and hold down a modifier key, the menu items will change to reflect that additional modifier key. - Steve On Mon, Jan 28, 2013 at 5:18 PM, Charlie Garrison garri...@zeta.org.auwrote: Good afternoon, On 28/01/13 at 4:37 PM -0600, Christopher Stone listmeis...@suddenlink.net wrote: Many people seem to be unaware of this feature of Mac OS X.
