PopClip stopped popping in BBEdit 12.x

2018-02-28 Thread Kyle DeMilo
I noticed that PopClip has stopped appearing when selecting text in recent
builds of BBEdit. If I had to wager a guess, it started (or stopped,
depending on how you look at it) with the 64-bit builds. Is anyone else
seeing this? For what it's worth, I don't have BBEdit on the list of
excluded apps in PopClip.

I hope that helps! Let me know if I can be of additional assistance.

Re: Are there any special features about this code editor?

2017-11-27 Thread Kyle DeMilo
If I could throw my hat in the ring, I don't code — and I'm probably
using BBEdit all wrong, but I use it with the Project view to store text
files with all kinds of notes on my job, as well as notes for each ticket I
have to deal with at my 9-to-5.

Could I do it with a cheaper solution? Probably, but BBEdit allows me to do
it all with a minimum of chrome, fuss, and formatting. For me, that's worth
every penny.

Colored Text String

2016-08-19 Thread Kyle DeMilo
I have to do a lot of documentation - in plain text, and would like to be
able to have BBEdit automatically change the color of certain bits of text
so that they stand out.
For example, I want to have BBEdit color the word "printer" in the sentence
"When you need to add a printer to your Mac…", so that it stands out from
the surrounding text. Is there a way to do that?

Thanks in advance!
