Looks like a much out-of-date BBB rev A5, based upon the stickers...

Wonder what the model's nails look like after all these years with a
rev C BBB

 Robert,

The proper (official) point to setup Ethernet now? And the steps involved
to make that your default method of transport..
In other words use USB for P.C. <> BBB but use Eth0 for Internet access.

I assume connmanctl is still for WiFi if one has WiFi.

Thanks

Thanks. I had to go back to 4.14 since the newest distro broke some things
which is taking me a while to figure out. I did however, eliminate
bonescript and I'm ~ 40 seconds which is almost tolerable.

I've updated

such that we can use it as a template for future SRMs as well as to accept
community edits.

Source is at
https://github.com/beagleboard/beaglebone-black/wiki/System-Reference-Manual
in asciidoc format. PDF conversion done with asciidoctor-pdf. Looking to
move to asciidoctor.js in the future.

2020-05-06 Thread zdenko . bacik
Hi Ahmed,

I write a bit later but it can help someone else.

If you have a backup of uEnv.txt - so than it is quick and simple.

*First copy file content to RAM memory:*
ext4load mmc 1 0x8000 /boot/uEnv.txt_bck

*Write content of file to new file:*
ext4write mmc 1 0x8000 /boot/uEnv.txt 2042 0

*mmc 1 - *it is my rootfs partition. Use the command *mmc list* to see the
partition.
