You are correct, it is not there.

We haven't shipped a "uImage" file in little over 7-8 years or so with
the default images.

What directions are you following? they seem a little dated..

[beagleboard] uImage location in BBB Debian

Hello everyone,

i am trying to load the uImage from the eMMC to the RAM with the u-boot in 
the Beaglebone black through this command 


load mmc 1:1 0x8200 /boot/uImage 


However the uImage cant be found under this directory! 


does somebody know where is it located?

this is what i have in the /boot/  (known that i have only one partition in 
the eMMC)

=> ls mmc 1:1 /boot/

   4096 .

   4096 ..

   4096 dtbs

   4096 uboot

 492 SOC.sh

 2013 uEnv.txt

 3363816 System.map-4.4.54-ti-r93

 147953 config-4.4.54-ti-r93

 5252454 initrd.img-4.4.54-ti-r93

 8652712 vmlinuz-4.4.54-ti-r93
