Hi Jennifer -- does that ever sound familiar! My Djinn has been doing that
since she was four months old -- only my doors open inward. If I want her to
stay outside, I MUST remember to lock the door! Maybe it's a Canadian
thing

Porter promptly walked over to the door, jumped up on
the handle and voila the door was open!! Who needs a dog door??!!

Hi all,

I just have to share this --- I don't know whether to be proud or not!!

We have french doors in the back of the house leading out to a big
deck. They have those long handles that you just have to push down to
open. Well, my husband was working outside I was upstairs. He looked
around and there was Porter (6 month old berner boy) bounding through
the backyard. He didn't see me anywhere (I always go outside with
Porter) -- so brought him back to the house and found the french doors
wide open. At first we thought the door wasn't closed right and the
wind opened it. But, after my husband called me downstairs we were
sitting there and Porter promptly walked over to the door, jumped up on
the handle and voila the door was open!! Who needs a dog door??!!

Needless to say the door will always now be locked ...
