She is not on the L nor is she a BMDCA member Ann Landeros [EMAIL PROTECTED] Laura informed me today that the profits from the 2003 Signature Berners Calendar ,in the form of a check for $1,472.99, were sent to the Light One Candle lobbying effort. I still have a few more orders to fill (you still need a 2003 calendar, don't you?) so we may make it to an even $1500 in profits. Thanks to Tina Laffoon for helping organize and advertise this project. Also, thanks to the LSBMDC board and club members for providing logistical support and especially to Laura Watson for keeping track of the money. This has been a fun project and I've learned a lot about running mail order co. The feedback on the calendars has been very positive -- no surprise that folks love looking at pictures of Berners! Thanks to everyone and please start digging out photos for the 2004 calendar. (P.S. we raised about double the amount the Anatolian rescue folks did last year with theirs -- and they knew what they were doing!).
