[bess] delta between draft-sharma-bess-multi-site-evpn and rfc9014

2024-03-13 Thread Dikshit, Saumya
Hello Authors of draft draft-sharma-bess-multi-site-evpn,

I have a query regarding the differentials being tackled by this draft over
existing multi-site (multi-fabric) EVPN standard support.

· Does it intends to standardized the “Logical GW concept” leveraging
Anycast reachability of all the “underlying/constituting physical devices” ?

· Is the intention to make proprietary multi-homing solutions (Anycast
based) by different vendors like Cisco vPC, Juniper MC-LAG, Aruba VSX to
interwork/interop/converge ?

Regards,
Saumya.
