Its just player preferences . But you could tidy up on you
mysqueezebox.com account some of those players are probably there too.
It would ease the load on the service.

Wow, thank you!
Since I run squeezesvr.exe via service, I added the parameter in the
ImagePath section in the registry. Since the "My SqueezeBox.com" tab is
now missing in the settings of the Web UI, it seems to work.

Another question:
I found a lot of client entries in the server.prefs file with
unknown/oudated MAC addresses. Maybe these are the entries of further
players which have been replaced/sold or SqueezePlay instances I ran
some years ago. Do these entries matter and should they be removed when
using LMS without the "--nomysqueezebox" parameter?

Thanks
Stefan

Re: [SlimDevices: Beta] 7.9 Problems/Bugs

2016-10-10 Thread Webkemmi

After two days with absolutely normal operation, the problem came back.
In the morning, Web radio didn't work and playing locally stored music
started with a delay of about 30 seconds and stopped after a minute or
so.
The Web UI was working normally and Internet connection on the server
was ok. Normal CPU and RAM utilzation and all other services like
Serviio were up and running fine.

The log error section until the restart of the LMS service below.
Once again my question: why do conenction problems to SN have impact to
the complete system? Is there a way to shut it off? I really don't need
mySB.com.

To update:

I tried playing one of the test files (a DSD64 DSF file), from my
Android phone, using HibyMusic. The file played correctly, over USB,
using Native, DoP and PCM modes. Only the very faintest interruption was
heard when switching modes on-the-fly.

Since the last post, I have also tried introducing a USB 2.0 hub between
the touch and the DAC. This makes no difference.

I have managed to get hold of the 2.6.26 kernel source, including
Triodes patches (not sure which ones), so can rebuild the kernel with
some tweaks if that might help.

BR.
