no glue A record in child domain
Hello gurus, Say I have this glue record in parent's DNS: child.example.com. IN NS ns.child.example.com. ns.child.example.com. IN A 12.34.56.78 Then in child's zone file, I don't include the A record for ns.child.example.com.. What will be happened? Does it affect client's query to other records in this child domain? Thanks. Does it affect client's query to other records in this child domain? Lookups will fail sooner or later when the interative resolver learns that the A record does not exist. It just a matter of time.
