Hi There: Yes Dominik was correct. The LeConte's Sparrow is still there this
pm. Seen and pictures/videos taken between the Fence and the pond in scruffy
grass area near to a nest box. It behaves like a mouse, but it is a gorgeous
adult bird.See below for directions:Marie Curtis Park is on Lakeshore Road on
the border of Mississauga and
Toronto, between Dixie Road and Brown's Line. The bird is in the
Mississauga portion of the park, to the south of the westernmost pond in
the open grassy area south of the water tower. I found it right along the
fence between the park and a large wood yard. If you went to the park in
October 2016 to see the LeConte's Sparrow then, it's in just about the same
area, just nearer to the fence than the pond.
Cheers

Sparrow, Marie Curtis Park, Mississauga
Late yesterday afternoon while birding in the Mississauga portion of Marie
Curtis park, I got a very brief look at what I thought was an Ammospiza
sparrow, as it flushed before me and ran a few metres across the ground
before disappearing into a tuft of grass, and I never saw it again despite
searching for the next half hour. David Pryor went to the spot this morning
and refound the bird, and confirmed that it's a LeConte's Sparrow. It's
very skulky so be prepared for a lot of patient waiting if you go to look
for it.
