[blfs-dev] NSS
I never noticed it, before. In make, there seems to be switches for system zlib to be used and linked. Is zlib a Required Dependency? []s, Fernando -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page

Zlib is installed in LFS, so it is expected to be installed and no need to list it as a dependency. -- Randy -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page

[blfs-dev] nss
Looking at nss, the intro says: * Estimated disk space required: 70 MB (more than double this to run the test suite) * Estimated build time: 1.0 SBU (at least an additional 3.5 SBU to run the test suite) But the instructions say: This package does not come with a test suite. I looked at the Makefile and could not any test or check. Is the intro data about a test suite just an oversight from prior versions? The size and md5sum were correct and the build size and time were pretty close to what I had. -- Bruce -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
