I am minimally familiar with KDE.

Understand from the ticket #7354 that you would try to keep as many as
possible applications equivalent to KDE4.

For me kalarm is good, and I see

kalarmcal-15.12.1.tar.xz

which uses kdepim-15.12.1.tar.xz, if I understood correctly something I
read earlier.

Seems useful what you planned and also the following, but I trust you if
