Perhaps (and I have thought that many times, for that reason) it could be moved to a more general chapter, probably "9. [blfs-dev] Libunique still needed ?
In the Xfce Applications chapter Libunique-1.6.6 was needed only by the xfce4 mixer (xfce4-mixer-4.10.0 based on GStreamer-0.10).
