[Blind-Computing] Outlook won't me send emails to my wife now.
I have outlook 2007, and am running windows 7, on a 64 bit machine, with jaws 12, latest update. Since yesterday, I can't send anything to my wife, and I could before. Also, all her stuff she sends to me, ends up in the junk mail folder. What do I do to remedy this? Jim For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
[Blind-Computing] I am changing my email on outlook doesn't let me send to my wife.
Outlook won't let me forward anything to my wife. I am running outlook 2007, on a windows 7 machine, 64 bit, with jaws 12, latest update. What would prevent me from sending forwards to my wife, and when she sends anything to me, it goes in my junk mail folder. Re: [Blind-Computing] I am changing my email on outlook doesn't let mesend to my wife.
Hi Jim, I have seen this problem once and I will offer this solution, though I am not really sure if the case is identical. 1. Go to Outlook main menu. 2. Go to TOOLS and than pick up OPTIONS 3. By pressing control tab, go to Mail format tab page. 4. From the combobox labeled Compose in this message format, choose HTML. You may try with the thre formats, I suspect you are using plain text, but in Outlook 7, in rair cases that is a bit of a problem Hope that helps Nikolauy - Original Message - From: jim rawls jazzpi...@ca.rr.com To: blind-computing@jaws-users.com Sent: Tuesday, May 03, 2011 7:50 PM Subject: [Blind-Computing] I am changing my email on outlook doesn't let mesend to my wife. Re: [Blind-Computing] I am changing my email on outlook doesn't let mesend to my wife.
Another thing that springs to mind is maybe you have put your wife in to the blocked senders list and this could also suggest as to why her emails always go in to your junk mail folder. Next time you get an email from yoru wife, and it is in your junk folder, highlight the email press the application key then j for junk then n for mark as not junk. But also check your blocked senders list and make sure her name is not in the list. [Blind-Computing] The best Free anti Malware Program?
Hi all! I'd like to do a little research here. What, in your opinions, would be the best, most accessible, free anti-malware program? I'm using Jaws 12 and Windows 7. Thanks! Sharon For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
Re: [Blind-Computing] The best Free anti Malware Program?
Your best bet would be Microsoft Security Essentials which is free, easy to use and totally JAWS accessible. It has consistently received high marks for malware detection from leading testers and it's light on resources, so it won't slow down your system. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=e1605e70-9649-4a87-8532-33d813687a7f Gerald - Original Message - From: Sharon Hooley shool...@clear.net To: blind-computing@jaws-users.com Sent: Tuesday, May 03, 2011 4:56 PM Subject: [Blind-Computing] The best Free anti Malware Program? Re: [Blind-Computing] JAWS couldn't read winamp playlist anymore
Had you tried closing WinAmp and restarting? Same goes for Jaws? Jaws has a nasty habit when running for long times, on my system anyway, of mucking up application key strokes. I've had it disable some hot keys, and otherwise not red properly if I hadn't shut it down and restarted it. I suspect when you restored teh reboot of Jaws and perhaps yrou system helped. If you hadn't, in the future I'd try just rebooting your system to see if that works. If you'd done this, perhaps you installed another program or driver just prior to this happening? Brad On 5/2/2011 01:55 PM Chris Feist said... HI. I just did a system restore, and it fixed this problem. But I thought I would ask about this, just in case someone might have an idea, and I can avoid doing whatever I did again. Today, I was wanting to start a new playlist. I wasn't able to get rid of the playlist already loaded in Winamp. I thought a control N would clear it, but it didn't. OK. So, I tried a number of different keystrokes. I tried control F4, and a few others I don't' recall. When all was said and done, when I would go to the playlist, it wouldn't read the tracks anymore. It would be blank, or it would act like it was trying to read the ddesktop. I checked, and it said my skins were still set to classic, so apparently I didn't change that setting. I don't know what I did to mess it up, but it was a doozie. Any thoughts? I mean it's all well and good now since the system restore seems to have fixed it. But that was a disturbing turn of events that I wouldn't have expected. It goes to show that just pressing keys to see what will happen is not such a great idea as some advise to do. This is version 5.581. Anything newer I already tried and it was a total disaster, so I don't intend to ever upgrade Winamp again until I'm forced to. Chris Feist - The one and only! [Blind-Computing] USB headset
Any recommendations for a USB headset which would also serve as a sound card, have higher quality mike and headphones, and of course reasonable in price? I might alternatively be interested in a cordless set as well. Thanks. [Blind-Computing] winamp window
Hi, I have no idea how to explain this but here goes... When I am geeking out to my music using winamp, using the vision that I have left (which isn't much) I notice the winamp window is taking up half of the display. However, when I use wmp this is not happening, so what's going on with winamp? Hope that made sense. Thankyou.
