Looking forward to learning about new games and the like here.

I've played a lot of muds. Everything from Aardwolf to several space
moos to empire to roleplay games like new worlds. Now days I mostly play
Kallisti and Lost Souls.

That said I bounce around a lot.

[blind-gamers] scribble

2019-08-03 Thread Christy S
Hmm, I can't seem to find scribble. Using ubuntu on wsl I used apt
install scribble and it said something like it may have been outdated or
something. I found it on sourceforge but it looks like that one might
have been a windows version.

I purchased the codeFactory sapi5 vocalizer voices yesterday from
www.atguys.com ( http://www.atguys.com ) so I could have better voices in order
to play his games, and use those good high quality vocalizer voices for Jim's
games, while playing them on my RCA cambio 2-in-1 tablet-laptop-hybrid I got
off amazon for $110. It has windows 10 home 32bit on it.

Re: [blind-gamers] remembering Jim kitchen

2019-08-03 Thread Tyler Zahnke
Yes. I will remember him and his games more than any other commercial
developer or even mainstream video games! Jim Kitchen was a true
genius; I enjoyed everything from his Battleship game to his Casino
collection; I always make sure that my computer has an uncut copy of
the Jim Kitchen collection. I've known people who have a version of
the collection that cuts certain games out, you probably know which
ones; while I understand, I think all of Jim's TTS games were
masterpieces, and there will never be another like him.
