You have to build one.

You might find it helpful to go through the entire build menu to see what you 
can build.  Arrowing left and right will give you more info on each thing.

You need whatever the job tells you. If you don't have something
  in that list, go look that item up in the job list the same way
  you did the saw. Rinse and repeat until you have everything the
  saw needs. The same exact procedure applies to anything else you
  want to build: find out what it needs, and if you don't have
  something, follow the trail down until you're done.

The only thing I found to do with horses is plow fields; you need a plow first 
and a stable, I think.

Hi,
In the middle is your main starting point.
 
Move around the area. See what each tile has to offer.
 
When you want to interact with the tile press enter and arrow up and down. This 
will list all those available things you can do there.
 
Press the space bar to bring up a list of all available things one can do. You 
can use first letter navigation here to see specific things. For instance you 
want to build a house. Start typing house and it will bring up a list of things 
starting with H, then H, O, and so on. It then tells you what you need to build 
a house and what it does.
 
And be sure to read the readme text file in the castaways 2 directory. That 
will help a lot.
