Lion loose in Columbus Ohio
I guess this news is better than death and mayhem, but the local news stations are so starved for news that one would think that we have a pack (or is it pride?) of lions loose. The short of it is, someone had a pet lion that got loose. Nobody is owning up to it, but it is the News Of The Day here in Columbus Ohio. The area featured in the news reports is about 1/2 mile from the base I work on. My favorite stupid quotes of the day are "Wild Lion" and a local school official saying on the news that "the lion isn't welcome at this school".
