Funny. Why do I think a Jophur would prefer vodka or uso [sp?]

Back from the party...

I would think that they would prefer scotch. Since the rings
use smells a lot, a drink which is varied on that account should
seduce them better than a drink like vodka, which is a lot
closer to just alcohol.

Help me out. I'm not a drinker. I thought ouzo was made with fruit rinds.
Greek?

From http://www.webtender.com/db/ingred/358:

The classic Greek drink Ouzo is made from a precise combination of pressed
grapes and herbs and berries including aniseed, licorice, mint,
wintergreen, fennel and hazelnut.

(You definitely must not be a drinker if you have to get your information
about alcoholic beverages from a Mormon . . . )

Tonight, in fact - once again going as a 14th century
lady. I've gotten a _lot_ of milage out of this
dress: initially sewn for SCA events, I've used it for
Halloween and Christmas rides (helmet covered with
black crepe for the former, ringed with a wreath for
the latter). It's a bit awkward to handle all that
material and the reins, but the looks we get as we
trot ringing down the trail (one _has_ to have sleigh
bells for Christmas!) are worth it. :D

I _think_ it's uzo or uzzo, if you're referring to the
anise/licorice - flavored Mediterranean liquor. Which
would be another nice scent for a traeki. :)

Well, if Sammy will tolerate being put in a Tigger outfit (no mask, just
pants and a top with a hood), he'll be Tigger. (He likes orange. I'd
have gotten him a pumkin outfit if I could have found one in his size
after I decided I *would* get something to dress him in for Halloween.)

I have an assortment of black dresses to choose from, and managed to get
a plain black pointed cap, so I get to answer the door to
trick-or-treaters dressed as a duck^H^H^H^Hwitch.

Can you do some sort of sideways trap-door for your hand to go out? You
could grab the glass that way, and then drink inside the stack.

That could be an idea.

I was thinking to have an arms torus made out of stuffed cloth which
would mean that my arms would always be out. Your idea would make things
easier.
