Best ice cream I've eaten was from the University of Wisconsin Dairy
Department.  I think that might trump LSU. :-)  Remember, the motto that
almost made it on the Wis license plate:

Wisconsin

Bluebell is made in Brenham, TX.  (Brenham is on US 290 somewhere
between Austin and Houston.)  They have tours on weekdays.  We're never
near Brenham on weekdays.

Well, you can buy *those* in the frozen section as well.
